The idea of Desert Surf appeared long time ago in process of search of the best waves in Morocco going to explore the vast empty coast to the South from Agadir. Although the famous area of Taghazout has a plenty of high quality breaks suitable for all levels we believe that real surfing experience is also about discovering the new waves and living the adventure. Moroccan coastline is very long and exposed to accept waves from multiple directions.
The area to the South from Agadir is opened to the swells from North-West, West and South-West at the same time so the waves here are even more regular and consistent than in other regions.
And we are still always ready to go to the trip and look for some new great places to surf. We know all local “secret” spots and are in permanent search of our owns to find best empty wave for different levels of surfing.
DESERT SURF MOROCCO
Desert Surf Morocco is a surf camp based 45 km South from Agadir and 40 km before the city of Tiznit. It is right in the heart of vast lands of Souss-Massa National Park famous for it`s biggest in the world population of some disappering animal species.
Desert Surf Morocco has an amazing location in front of a 5 km long sandy beach full of amazing waves for different levels of surfing. And in short drive access we have a plenty of other surf spots both beachbreaks and pointbreaks.
The main benefit of surfing in this area is no crowds in the water and on the beach like in other places closer to Agadir and Taghazout where surfing could be challenging for every level just because of intensive traffic in the water.
Here we have same coast with high quality waves with no surfers around. And we are still in search of new places for you to surf. Coming to DSM you garateed will surf or learn surfing in perfect conditions with a small group and nobody else at one of our “secret” spots.
